Omani and Irani oil officials are said to be mulling the construction of a terminal in Jask, a city in Southern Iran.

IRNA said the department head for international affairs at National Iranian Oil, Refining, and Distribution Company met with Oman’s oil and gas minister on 6 May to review executive works for the project.

The officials reportedly met on the sidelines of the Iran International Exhibition of Oil, Gas, Refining and Petrochemicals, held earlier this month.

Investment opportunities in refining and distribution were dicussed between both officials, IRNA added.

The Sultanate’s oil minister, Mohammed bin Hamad Al Rumhi, reportedly said that Oman’s private sector is keen to participate in Iran’s projects.
