Azerbaijan and Iran have agreed on spectrum use in border areas.The parties monitored the bands used by both states for GSM and TV  services and formed a protocol based on the findings. This has now been signed.

The document is focused on the efficient and equal use of spectrum in order to avoid collisions in border areas. Azerbaijan earlier signed similar documents with Russia and Georgia.
