Managing Director at Iran’s Construction & Development of Transportation Infrastructures Company Ali Noorzad and Deputy Road Minister Aref Asgarev on Thursday discussed Tehran-Baku transportation cooperation.

Iran, Azerbaijan to expand transportation cooperation

Iran’s ambassador to Baku Mohsen Pakaeen was also present in the meeting.

Noorzad told the Azeri party that important works have been done to complete Rasht-Astara railway network.

He said Azerbaijan can play an important role in connection of North-South corridor by improvement of the Rasht-Astara railway.

He also urged formation of a working group to find ways of bilateral transportation cooperation.
