Western Sahara, a former Spanish colony, has been controlled by Morocco since 1975.
The Iranian minister arrived in Morocco on Sunday as part of an African tour, which had already taken him to Libya and Chad.
He met with the Moroccan Prime Minister, Driss Jettou, and the speakers of the two parliament Chambers on Monday.
