Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah held talks in Amman on Monday with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman al-Safadi.

Talks focused on Iran’s destabilizing role in the region and world.

The hand of the Kingdom is extended to dialogue should Iran address the threat to the region’s security and stability, said Prince Faisal during a press conference with Safadi.

He added that talks with his counterpart tackled security and political challenges facing the region.

For his part, Safadi stressed that Amman supports any step Saudi Arabia takes to protect its security.

He condemned the attacks by the Iran-backed Houthi militias in Yemen against Saudi Arabia.

Moreover, he added that Amman and Riyadh were in agreement over the Palestinian cause.

“We clearly spoke about the Palestinian cause and seek real progress to implement the two-state solution,” he remarked.
